Upon entrance the hostess was extremely unprofessional, no people skills at all. Same for the waitress. Once we arrived, other guests were seated and served before us. Honestly felt like it was a race issue. I will say the ranch dressing was soooo good. Other than that it was a waste of time and money. Will not be back or recommend.

I was there on a 80 degree beautiful Wednesday in early October. Everyone was either hiking or boating in the morning and ended up at Daiker’s for a late lunch. Had to sit at the bar due to the long wait for a table. The bartender was very considerate to try and get the orders of everyone around his end of the bar. Our food took a bit to come out but was really good when it arrived. Short staffed as most places but still did their best with good service, food and a decent view!

I love this place. Water accessible and on the snowmobile trails during the winter with ice access. It can get busy so bring a little patience during those times. This place has excellent Fourth Lake views with Alger Island in the background. The pub food is just what you'd expect and want. Full bar, music at night, sports. What else is there? Cheers! (Disclaimer - I grew up in Old Forge and the owner is a friend. Still, the review stands because the place is what it is!)

My recent visit to this restaurant left me with mixed feelings. Despite having a party of two, we had to endure a frustrating wait of over 45 minutes for a table, even though there were plenty of empty tables around, some of which weren't cleaned promptly. During our visit, we witnessed several families walking away due to excessive wait times, even though numerous empty tables were available which they later seated after they clean up. Once seated, we patiently waited for a server for 10 minutes, to no avail. I approached the hostess, apologizing for having to inquire about our server, and was met with rudeness. Oddly, just a minute later, a server finally arrived to take our order. Unfortunately, the food experience didn't redeem our visit either. The potato skins we ordered as a starter were undercooked, which was a letdown. One of us ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich, and it didn't meet our expectations. The French fries lacked freshness. We were there for over 2 hours when it should’ve only been 1 hour. Ridiculous! The atmosphere is great. Beautiful deck with nice view of the 4th lake. I typically refrain from writing negative reviews, but in this case, improvements are needed in terms of staff and seating efficiency. I plan to revisit soon and hope to have a better experience, which I'll certainly update in my review.
